First snow
Today we finally had our first snow!
Last night at about 10, Elizabeth came running into our room telling us to look out the window because it was snowing. We had to look right at the street light to actually see it, but snow was finally falling. This morning when we woke up, there was a light coating of snow on some parts of the ground. Peter was so excited, but he said, "It's not Christmas. Why is it snowing?"
Even though it was just a dusting, we are still excited about the snow. We have been waiting so long for it! This is the latest time that we have had our first snow since we have been here.
Everyone at the corps keeps saying that this will be a very snowy and cold winter this year, and that we will have a white Christmas. I hope so, but we'll keep you posted.

I love snow. It has snowed at least once a day here for 16 days. Some accumulation for the day, and then melting. You know an Ohio snow - you get alot and it doesn't exactly stay. Not like a Northern New England snow which accumulates and stays.
Enjoy your winter! Let it snow - let it snow - let it snow!
